NORBURY LIBRARY REFURBISHMENT
The reopening of the refurbished library has been pushed back to Summer 2020.

To date, the library has been cleared and all asbestos has been removed to make the building a safe working place. The building works programme has been delayed due to changes to the design.

The original plan included a new extension to house a wheelchair accessible lift to the upstairs community room. The revised plans have brought the lift inside the library to bring the project within budget.

The Council will still be delivering a new roof, external repairs and cleaning, a new heating system, and refurbishment of the library including a café.

At the meeting you can:

- View the revised design
- Have your say
- Meet your Councillors
- Enjoy free refreshments

PLEASE NOTE: Monthly Coffee Mornings have been suspended while the library is closed for refurbishment. However, as the library reopening has been pushed back until Summer 2020 we are looking for an alternative venue to hold these. Watch this space for further details!
